Olivia Wong

Olivia Wong was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Sacramento after being adopted into a Chinese-American family. She knew at fourteen that she would be a filmmaker — primarily a writer-director — and went on to the USC School of Cinematic Arts MFA program, where she wrote, directed, and produced her own short films and music videos.
As a queer woman of color, she makes work to move the culture forward; that is the reason she became a filmmaker in the first place. She has also been a professional photographer for the past decade, currently signed with Getty Images as an Editorial Photographer in Entertainment.
